Urban Impact Mentoring Workshops

Mentoring workshops are provided for school teams beyond the Knox County - University of Tennessee Urban Impact partnership. These mentoring workshops, sponsored by TASL, provide professional development credit for principals and an opportunity for principals and teacher leaders to develop a plan of action to ensure mentoring is a priority in their schools. Elementary principals are encouraged to include one teacher from special areas and each grade for their mentoring team. Middle and high school principals are encouraged to include one teacher from special areas and each content area for their mentoring team.

Mentoring workshops for the 2002-2003 school year have been scheduled.
