We look forward to partnering with the University of Tennessee’s Smoky Mountain Field School to provide another year of excellent educational programming. The partnership between Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Field School celebrates its 32nd year in 2010.

The Field School offers high-quality workshops, hikes, and adventures to more than 700 people each year who want to enhance their enjoyment, appreciation, and understanding of the Smokies and the great outdoors. The strength of these programs comes from the enthusiasm, knowledge, dedication, experience, and love of Great Smoky Mountains National Park that instructors bring to each and every course.

Expand your interest in Great Smoky Mountains National Park and really get to know it through the variety of courses offered this year. For generations, the unspoiled mountains, forests, and streams have been a haven for wildlife and an inspiration for mountaineers, backpackers, and casual visitors.
