Veterinary Medicine:
Behind-the-Scenes
(Grades 9-12, rising)

Students will learn about small and
large animal practice, avian, exotic, and
wildlife medicine in classes conducted
by a licensed veterinary technician.
In addition, students will learn about
animal behavior, anatomy, and how
diseases are diagnosed, and much, much
more! They will learn about the variety
of roles a veterinarian can play, plus how
to prepare for the many career choices
in veterinary medicine. Class sessions
include presentations by UT faculty and
staff. Limit: 12 students.
