Meeting & Event Planning Professional Certificate
The University of Tennessee's non-credit Meeting & Event Planning Professional Certificate program is designed to help you start a career in the meeting and event planning business.
Learn how to plan and manage a flawless event with high standards to meet and exceed your client's goals.
Beginning in Winter 2010, students pursuing the certificate must complete:
• Three required courses: Meeting & Event Planning Basics, Understanding Contracts for Event Planners, and Meeting & Event Planning Budgeting;
• Two electives;
• Obtain 3 hours of fieldwork experience; and
• Complete a planning project.
