Human Resources Certificate
Whether you are an HR professional, a small to medium-size business owner, or are considering a dynamic career change, the University of Tennessee's non-credit Human Resources Certificate program allows students to gain essential knowledge in the foundations of HR management and skills specifically related to organizational leadership.
The program focuses on current practices related to human resource management.
The HR certificate program helps you prepare for the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certifications offered by the Human Resources Certification Institute.
The PRH exam requires two to four years of exempt-level HR experience, while the SPHR requires six years of exempt level.
