Margi Jones is a Nonpoint Source Technical Advisor with the Kentucky Division of Water.

She has approximately 10 years of experience in fluvial geomorphic assessment and stream restoration techniques. Among her accomplishments is the development of a forum which began in 1999 for all state and federal agencies involved in stream restoration in Kentucky to meet monthly and increase their knowledge of stream processes and natural channel design. 

She has led the Division of Water in adopting stream assessment techniques that address historic stream manipulation as well as natural evolutionary processes in determining stream health.
