UPDATE from UT Conferences – April 15, 2020

The University of Tennessee is closely monitoring the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. University leaders are working closely with government and public health agencies and continue to follow guidelines from the U.S. Department of State, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the World Health Organization.

Please note that our office is currently working remotely to encourage social distancing and minimize the number of people on campus in response to COVID-19. These are temporary measures, as we are continuously monitoring this public health crisis, and will evaluate changes as the situation arises but we expect to be working remotely until at least May 4, 2020. We are ready and available to assist you with any questions or refunds by phone at 865-974-0280 or by email .

The health and safety of your participants and staff continue to be our top priority along with the greater University of Tennessee community. With this, things are rapidly evolving, and while our intention is to operate this summer without change, the University may alter or suspend programs at any point in the future and restrict participants who have traveled to or from affected areas. At this time, the University has made the decision to cancel or postpone all in-person events through July 31, 2020. If the situation changes and your program is impacted, we will work with you to reschedule your program if possible.  Any such decision will be communicated directly to you via email. We encourage you to continue to monitor CDC travel health notices as the global health situation evolves.

If you decide to suspend or cancel your program, please contact us directly so that we can discuss specifics on the cancellation policy described in our agreement if your group arrangements are at that point in the reservation process.

We will continue to update you and your program as we receive additional information. Please continue to monitor your email. For more information about the University of Tennessee operations and efforts, please visit

We ask and encourage you to share this message with your organization. If you have any questions, please contact us directly at
