Hello from UT Conferences – March 23, 2020
The University of Tennessee is closely monitoring the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. University leaders are working closely with government and public health agencies and continue to follow guidelines from the U.S. Department of State, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the World Health Organization.
Please note that our staff is currently working remotely to encourage social distancing and minimize the number of people on campus. We expect to be working remotely until April 6, 2020.
At this time, the University has considered postponing events within the CDC’s guidelines to limit events for the next eight weeks, and no decisions have been made for events taking place after May 9. If the situation changes and your program is impacted, we will work with you to reschedule your program if possible. Any such decision will be communicated directly to you via email.
If you decide to suspend or cancel your program, please contact us directly so that we can discuss specifics on the cancellation policy described in our agreement if your group arrangements are at that point in the reservation process.
We will continue to update you and your program as we receive additional information.
