Classroom Computers

Both classrooms have Dell Pentium II 400 MHz computers. For a variety of reasons, these computers must regularly be connected and disconnected from the Scan Converter and desk monitors.

The programs most often used on them are Microsoft's Power Point and Acrobat Reader. You need to be able to help start up these programs for your instructor, guest speakers and students. Accessing the Internet is another common use of the computer with which you need to be able to assist your instructor. Both computers run both Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with all the computer components and the signal paths.
