There are nine routing destinations for each classroom. Each destination has a number assigned to it. The numbers for the 18 destinations are listed on a Routing Guide which stays in the control room. There are 10 different sources that can routed to any one of the destinations. The number assigned to each source is also listed on the Routing Guide.

To route a source to a destination, you first select a destination by pushing the destination button, then pushing either one or two numerical buttons and then re-pushing the destination button. For example, to select Dub Group Two (Destination #14) as the destination you would push the destination button, numerical buttons #1 and #4, and the destination button.

The number of the destination you've selected will now appear above the destination button. The source that is currently routed to this destination will appear above the level 1 and level 2 buttons. To route a different source to whatever destination that has been selected you simply push either one or two numerical buttons and then push the take button.

For example, to route program B (Source #3) to Dub Group 2 (Destination #14 which you've just selected) you would push numerical button #3 and the Take button.

The media used by the instructor and whether or not there is a Codec Connection determines what sources you should route to the nine destinations for each classroom.
