TeleMedia Services Group

Mission statement:

The evolving mission of the TeleMedia Services Group is multi-faceted, focusing on the concept, design, implementation, and operation of technologically advanced multi-media systems, networks and methodologies. The transparent integration of disparate technologies as solutions to communications and educational concerns is our specialty. On-going training and professional development of faculty and student production assistants in these arenas rounds out our mission.

History:

The Telemedia Services Group was established in early 1993 to provide the technical and operational expertise necessary to efficiently and effectively implement UTK's continuing education and conferencing missions and goals. We are a branch of the University of Tennessee's University Outreach and Continuing Education division. The group consists of a full time Operations Supervisor; John Baldwin , and is currently staffed with five UTK student assistants: Suzanne Cone, Jennifer Franklin, HyunJoo Woo, Dolruedee Suppacheewa and Mathew VandeBrake.
